When she was a little girl, Suzanne’s favorite Christmas presents were a microscope and a typewriter. She saw, she examined, she communicated about it.

Suzanne Rush has been writing about culture, politics, astrology, nature, economics, art, potato chips, her mother and pretty much every little thing that has popped into her head for most of her life. While she has been published in some rags you may know, she has mainly been ruminating online since the turn of the last century.

From her offices in Los Angeles, overlooking beautiful Laurel Canyon (and, by extension, the universe), she commands the empire of her imagination. She frequently leaves the confines of her headquarters to: do her side-splitting schtick at art openings; attend concerts; hike; self-improve; earn money; or to confer with her staff of ex-partners, estranged family members, lost pets and a few loyal friends.

It’s not what she pictured life would be like. But what ever is?
